MORE ABOUT COLLECTIBLE ITEMS BOOSTS IN WOW
Collectible Items boosts in WoW are about obtaining this or that rare valuable for your character. Most often, in fact, such rare items are shared among all your characters as their default sharing option is account-wide. And yes, all your character can later access them from your account-wide collection so such an investment will likely pay for enthusiasts keen on making all their toons look as sharp as possible! There are several kinds of collectibles in WoW: mounts, pets, toys, armor for transmog, and so on. While mounts have their own dedicated category on our website, this section deals with all the other mentioned types of items. So let's learn a little more about them.
Q: What kinds of collectible armor is there?
A: Collectible gear pieces include items from legacy raids and other activities – that is, outdated content. All those activities that used to be hard and popular during older expansions are now much easier to do and they still have lots of cosmetic rewards as an incentive for you to participate in them. However, it's not going to be a pleasure cruise: the drop rate of the most sought-after cosmetic rewards is rather saddening. That's only natural: if you could loot it all with just one visit, that would make it all less challenging and – most importantly – less valuable. So you have to put up with it. And if you don't want to, you can always turn to pros – we'll take care of this grinding for you, no worries! Leave all the tedious stuff to dedicated specialists!
Transmog gear can be divided into 2 groups: farmable and coming from the black market. Farmable is straightfoward: you just go to a particular raid / dungeon / whatever and run it for as long as it takes to finally get a desired item. Our pros do that for you, if you so choose. As for the items coming from the black market, it becomes a little more complicated as you have to be ready to spend lots of gold at once and you also have to compete with other enthusiasts on your realm to place the biggest big on a particular item. And you should also be lucky as black market lots are random: you can't know which realm gets which lots today and tomorrow, and the day after that, and so on. So there's too much randomness about it all to truly rely on it. But our pros can handle that. We have our own system of obtaining items through the black market, so if you want any item coming from the black market, we can get it for you.
An example of farmable transmog armor is Tusks of Mannoroth. Although it's a really rare thing and our pros prefer obtaining it via the black market, it's still possible to test your luck once a week to try getting them from the source raid (Siege of Orgrimmar).
An example of a black market-only transmog item would be any tier 3 set (here's a look at our tier 3 mage set boost). The item has been completely removed from the game for some reason and now its only source is the black market auction house where it now costs insane amounts of gold. As BMAH is completely random, you can hardly prepare for obtaining it, especially if you're after a whole set. So you better entrust this mission to our pros who know exactly how to deal with such tasks.
Q: What collectible weapons are there?
A: Collectible weapons can be just cool-looking items or items with some special effects (that can also look cool!). Their sources also vary: they can be farmable or obtained through the black market only. A great example of a farmable collectible weapon is Val'anyr, a legendary hammer from Ulduar. Blizzard didn't remove it and kept all the related quests to let anyone unlock it. So we can do that for you if you're not inspired by the idea of farming Ulduar for 20-30 weeks in a row.
An example of weapons that you can get only via the black market is the Arcanite Ripper. This item used to be obtainable from a special event back at the end of the Burning Crusade expansion but then it got removed. When the black market appeared, players got another chance for it. And why not? Why not make a great item accessible but not easily accessible? The Ripper combines rarity with good looks and a great special effect (you can play some metal music with it!). And of course we can help you get it too!

So all in all, there's lots of things to collect in WoW. And while this category offers a lot of valuable stuff, there's a wider one dedicated to all kinds of collectibles in the game – check it out if your interest with this one!
